Our Faith
Christ-Centered in Everything We Do
Faith at the Heart of Education
At TruChristian School, faith is not a subject we add to the school day — it is the foundation upon which everything we do is built. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord over all of life, and that every subject, every relationship, and every moment of the school day is an opportunity to know Him more deeply and reflect His character more fully.
Our teachers are committed Christians who model a living faith in the classroom, integrating biblical truth naturally and intentionally into every academic discipline. We partner with families and churches to nurture students who are not just academically prepared, but spiritually rooted and ready to live for God's glory.
Our Statement of Faith
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, equal in nature, distinct in person, and united in purpose.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice, and the foundation for all learning.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and His coming return in glory.
Salvation
We believe that all people are sinners in need of God's grace, and that salvation is received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, regenerates the heart, indwells every believer, and empowers the Christian life.
The Church
We believe in the universal church — the body of Christ — and the importance of the local church as the primary community for worship, discipleship, and mission.
Chapel & Spiritual Life
Chapel is a cherished part of the TruChristian School week. Students gather together for worship, prayer, Scripture teaching, and community. Chapel services are designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and spiritually formative — helping students encounter God in a meaningful way and grow in their personal faith.
Weekly Chapel Services
All-school and grade-level chapel services bring students together for worship and the Word.
Bible Classes
Every student takes Bible class as a core part of their academic schedule, studying Scripture systematically from preschool through 12th grade.
Prayer
Prayer is woven throughout the school day — in classrooms, hallways, and offices — as a natural expression of our dependence on God.
Discipleship
Teachers and staff invest in students as mentors and disciplers, walking alongside them in their faith journey beyond the classroom.
A Biblical Worldview
A biblical worldview means seeing all of life — history, science, literature, mathematics, art, and culture — through the lens of God's Word. At TruChristian School, we intentionally teach students to think Christianly about every subject, equipping them to engage the world with wisdom, discernment, and confidence in the truth of Scripture.
Partnering with Families & Churches
We believe that the education of a child is a shared responsibility between the school, the family, and the church. TruChristian School is committed to supporting and strengthening that partnership. We encourage all of our families to be actively involved in a local, Bible-believing church, and we work to reinforce at school what is being taught at home and in the congregation.
